True. It's all just my armchair psychology. Maybe there is a healthy place for this. I had never been this involved with Reddit so maybe I can't speak to what people who have been mistreated in that place and had seen it grow have gone through. With all the social media sites, like YouTube, I always felt that it is like building castles made of sand to invest so much energy. Sure, you can get fired from any regular job, too, now quicker than ever, but choosing to be invested in such transitory places like Internet sites always seemed like too risky. Then again, I am someone who has consumed thousands of hours YouTube videos and enjoyed whatever all these people have put out there who did take the risk, so it's easy for me to say. I had all of this because there were people out there who did take the risk and there were people out there who cared enough about those places to fight for them.
