Thirdly - I'd like to promote active posting and discussion on here, as comments are not being filtered automatically like they are on r/WatchRedditDie.

Hopefully this site can get some good traffic with the ban wave, seems to have potential as a good replacement.

Yeah hopefully, there's also WRD on Ruqqus, although it's crashed with all the traffic from Reddit. It has 3100 members, don't know if there are any mods there from the OG sub, or which sub will be the 'main' one going forward when the original gets banned.

I'm thinking I may have made a mistake putting my money on ruqqus with the r/WRD automod message and general promotion. This place seems more stable and well-positioned.

Ruqqus ended up abandoning free speech and then shutting down when the admins realized they weren't going to get away with doing a 180 that fast.

Maybe you can add SaidIt back to the automod comments, since Ruqqus can't keep it up. Or just link to /r/redditalternatives

I've reclaimed my original name here. I'm also going to update the WRD automod to push for saidit above ruqqus.

  1. Theres not much content on this subs /new/ to warrant more moderators.

  2. We don't have a bunch of rules imposed by the admins that we need moderators to enforce all the posts/comments to adhere to, like you did on Reddit.
