Looks like the murderer is just some raging repressed homosexual who clearly has no idea what he's doing or why, but think it's something cool for shock value. Probably impotent too.

The murderer is Luka Magnotta, google him he's pretty messed up and I think is actually openly homosexual haha but otherwise you're right.

Oh gosh, thank you for the name. He looks way socially savvier than I imagined him, but no less of a punchable face. Yes, apparently totally very publicly gay... Though Wikipedia says his gayness didn't grow up in a very nice to be gay home. Huh. Well, first time I've heard that, he must have been the only one that's ever happened to.
