I have no idea what my first video was. I want to say it was the Budd Dwyer suicide, but could have easily been another video but thats probably the first one that stuck with me

Mine was that kid who streamed his suicide to some of his friends from 4chan (i think), he was wearing a wolf rainbow thing around his face, video lasted long enough to see his mom (?) find him and police. I assume it was a well known video.

I think that was the video that caused wpd in reddit to shut down

I think it was because it was googling that video that led me to r/wpd, but it was long gone unfortunately :(

Actually that was the video that I would say started the events for WPD's shutdown and revision of rules of the site, since that video they were forced to dis-allow suicide videos though it was abit loose of a rule if I recall since you could still get people jumping infront of trains and stuff, just not many instances where straight up shooting themself in the head was allowed

I was pretty unlucky, my first one was Funkytown. I heard it mentioned casually during a youtube podcast, and my curiosity got the better of me.
