I'm surprised by how fast and hard people fall whem they shoot themselves in the head, as it's a lot faster than when a person faints.

Yeah I've noticed that too. It's like they snap to the ground rather than just falling.

Maybe it's not fair to compare it to fainting though because I'm imagining a fainting person slowly loses consciousness and the ability to control their muscles which allows a slower fall where as a head kill shot is instantaneous lights out and looks faster than natural.

I think it's more some muscles twitching and/or the force of the blas providing extra acceleration to the body on it's way to the floor.

Yeah I was thinking the gun jolting them would have had something to do with it.
