How come all the horrible factory accident videos usually come from China?

It must be terrifying being eaten by the machine you were just using to earn money. I wonder what eventually killed him in the end. Maybe the torn body parts? The broken bones? Being unable to breathe because those things seem to have locked onto his neck? Suffering and pain combo.

China has very little safety regulation. They don't have OSHA or anything in place like we do in the US. They start working so young, and kids don't have the best track record for having what you and I call common sense. This kid in the video made a mistake that would have gotten you fired IMMEDIATELY here in the US, or really any other country. He experienced some extreme pain in this video. It probably felt like a lifetime and shock and terror probably killed him before the actual machine did. I'd hope so anyway. poor dude, his fault it happened, but poor dude nonetheless.

I'm new here from reddit, I am finally back home here in WPD2.0 dear god thank you.

This is definitely a result of lower safety standards. People blaming idiocy/common sense are being unfair to Chinese people. Keep in mind that China has a population of 1.3 billion people, about 700 million of which are active in the working sector. China's working sector is, by itself, double the entire population of the United States. If you stuck thousands of US youth in factory conditions with few enforced safety standards/supervision, the outcome would be the same. The US has OSHA and accidents still happen despite that, even if it is statistically less. Given China's large population, a large industrial sector, and lower regulations, it is not surprising that many videos come from there.

Another two reasons why there are many videos from China are.
1. They has highest number of people working in factory compared to other countries, and it's much higher than 2nd runner.
2. The authorities doesn't bother securing the footage. In many countries, footages like this are confiscated by the government officials, and sometimes media only get the censored one.

Kinda late, but where did you find the video? I tried searching for an article in Chinese based on the date in the video and some generic keywords but nothing came up. Any info that you have might help.

It's just a conveyor belt at a warehouse in China. It looks like a belt or a small tire. He should have used a stick to push it back onto the tracks when it got stuck.

Made in China naturally, if they only had a deathswitch/button before the dangerzone( where the dude was swallowed,no idea wtf he was up there) then he could press the button and the thing would stop, but No they want to keep us entertained on WPD

Holy fuck what a horrible way to go. The terror in his eyes as the conveyer belt pulls him in deeper...

That's okay, they'll just turn him into CO2 and Greta will yell at small town America and then beg for a plane ticket home
