It's funny you think you would do something different In that situation. I'm sure these victims thought the same once. Then the starvation and mock executions and multiple other tactics they use to mess with your mind start to break you into something less than a man. Some of these executions are done in a short time span of imprisonment. Others can last months until they are done toying with you. It's not that simple. I would like to think I would do the same as you would. Are they put there and told that if they resist their entire family will be slaughtered? Were they mentally tortured until broken over a long period of time? Or none of the above and it just so happens that all of these men just take it for what it is and don't fight it? You cannot say what you would do because you do not know. I personally don't believe you would've been any different than 99% of these other souls, taking their executions like this.
