I don't know, I don't think the police were necessarily in the wrong here, but wouldn't a taser have been a better option? It seemed to my untrained eye that they had time and were within range. I agree the officer in this perspective was in the right mindset though to have everyone come out ok.

yhep teaser could have worked,but not every cop has a taser and i seen times that a taser did not work or went of to late ans the cop got killed

He literally came at them covered in blood wielding a knife. Part of cop training is them showing you just how quickly someone can kill you with a knife from that distance. Dude WANTED to die by cop

how the you know me,i would try to shoot him in the leg first if he came towards me,i gues the cop could have done that,but i mean seeing a lot of trigger happy cop videos compare to this 1 he did much better,and maybe he had no other option,im not a cop so i dont have that experiance,and calling me a coward because i think the cop did the best he could-maybe shooting him in the leg is also dangerous,because if you mis the dude can stabb you,again im no cop and dont have experiance like this-so fuck you,fucking moran judgin me on a comment while you dont know me,i dont say i would react like the cop in that situation.........because of idiots like you Saidit dosnt have downvotes and thats prob a good thing

Amazing. I'm blown away that this idiot can say this was the cops' fault. The officer did everything he could. That man wanted to die.
