Three children enter an elevator without an adult. The three kids start fooling around pushing buttons and doing random stuff. Upon reaching their floor, they all exit the elevator. One kid closes the sliding elevator gate, but for some reason, the door behind him closes. He tries pushing the door to get out, but for some reason he couldn't open it. The door fully shuts, trapping him between the elevator's gate and the door. The elevator starts moving up slowly. First, the kid's lower body gets sucked downwards, totally crushing his bones. Then his upper body follows. Finally, his head is seen destroyed.

In my personal suspicion, I think that one of the kids pushed the door behind him. The door isn't supposed to be hard to open, as seen in the beginning of the video when the kids were entering. The same kid who got crushed was pretty much holding the door open without much effort at the beginning. When the kids were exiting the elevator, it also didn't seem heavy or hard to open. When the kid closed the elevator gate, you can see that at first he was able to somewhat open the door, but the door was pushing back against him unnaturally as if somebody on the other side was intentionally trying to close the door. Also, at -22 seconds of the video player near the end, you can see what seems to be a foot blocking the door from being opened by the kid. In my opinion, I think one of the kids or two of the kids were trying to play a trick on him so they trapped him in between the elevator gate and the door. They probably didn't know they'd end up killing him in a scary and probably extremely painful way.

Also, it's my first time seeing an elevator like that. A sliding gate and a door that can be pulled open? It's very strange and definitely dangerous, as exhibited in the video.

Both of them pushed the door closed. The smallest one started then the biggest one held it closed.

These types were/are in the United States.

And these “accidents” happened here. The difference is that in the States the regulations were changed and made it so the swing out doors had to be altered by bolting a large wedge shaped block on the bottom of the door.

It takes up that entire dead space, and has an angle on top so kids can’t stand on it very easily.

And I’m not 100 percent sure, but I believe they can’t install them new any longer.

And there was still an issue here of the elevator gate switch being disabled somehow. The external door is mechanically locked once the elevator sees all the switches made up, then it moves.

If the internal gate switch was disabled, as soon as the external door closed, the system would think both doors are closed, it would lock the external door, and move.

The company that maintains this lift is at fault. And if that’s the building owner, or a third party they need to be sued, or goto jail.

Edit: Rewatched, looks like he never tried to reopen the inside gate. So it may be fully functional, no gate lock disabled.

Maybe there's a mechanism that locks the outer door just prior to the lift moving?

what you said is 100% inaccurate. the door closes on him because they closed it on him. As a "prank" I suppose.
