On Sunday, the Prešov evening published on social networks footage from a security camera, which is supposed to capture the course of dramatic neutralization of an attacker who murdered a teacher and injured other people, including two children, on Thursday in the Slovak town of Vrútky. The police have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the video.

Twenty-two-year-old Ivan also attacked the intervening police officers. They shot him, but were wounded by deflected bullets. This is also shown by the published footage.

It is clear from the footage that mothers before the assailant and the police ran to the place, mothers with children were moving there. Fortunately, they fled the place in time and nothing happened to them.

A man with a knife attacked a policeman who used a service weapon against him. The attacker then turned against the other officer. He stumbled and fell to the ground.

The attacker was probably hit by several shots, but the bounced bullets also injured both intervening police officers. Only in the end, when the man with the knife is lying helplessly on the ground, other police officers come to the rescue.

Ivan, a former student at the school, died on the spot. During the attack in the school building with a knife, the deputy director of 62-year-old Jaroslav Budze was fatally hit. The young man also injured a janitor, a teacher and two children. All injuries are out of danger to life.

The Slovak police have not yet informed about the motive of the perpetrator, but according to former classmates, Ivan was bullied at school for his appearance. He had a cleft lip.
