It looks a little bit staged to me, because one of the guys still has his eyes open, like he's alive. Also, Tom Savini may have been hired to fool other cartel leaders.

The war between cartels in the State of Mexico does not stop. During this weekend two men were killed in the municipality of Sultepec; one of them was head of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) in Toluca.

On Sunday afternoon the bodies of Adrián Menes Cortés, alias la Hormiga, allegedly in charge of the operations of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel in Toluca, and another man were found in the municipal seat of the municipality of Sultepec.

According to police sources, the bodies were found around 4:00 p.m., at kilometer 1 of the Sultepec - Toluca highway, in the area known as Los Arcos.

Along with the bodies was a narcomensaje signed by the CJNG, in which it was possible to be read:

"HERE IS THE FAMOUS ANT AND YOU CAN BE QUIET, CAREFULLY THE SUKI DUKI PURA FM SOAP".

The two bodies had multiple firearm impacts, mainly to the head.

Personnel from the Ixtapan de la Sal Regional Prosecutor's Office arrived at the scene to pick up the bodies and begin investigations.

A video was broadcast on social networks in which the Ant is seen sitting near a tree with his hands tied behind his back; In which he explains being the person in charge in Toluca of the CJNG and working under the command of a subject he calls “JR”, who paid him a salary of 5,000 pesos every two weeks, in addition to listening to him say that he lived in the municipality of Lerma.

In a second video you can see "La Hormiga" accompanied by another man standing on a third party road, where they are killed.

This double homicide adds to the six registered during the weekend in the State of Mexico.

Most civilized cartel execution I've ever seen. I'm guessing this was pure business and that they reserve their more painful methods for those who try to resist, or to terrorize known rivals by torturing their relatives, but I don't know, I fail to imagine these people filming another Funky Town.

Different intended audience, I think. The torture videos are probably meant to intimidate lower ranking guys who don't fear death because they have little else worth living for, where as this video seems aimed at sending a message to the higher ranking rivals.

Not as much as I expected, TBH. I've fired the M82 bolt-action variant which has a LOT more kick. Rocked both me and the cameraman. Kinda wonder what the muzzle velocity is of the M82 vs the M107.

are we even sure that's a high caliber rifle? there's no way that's a .50 cal, those shots were quiet as fuck and I don't see any exit wounds on these guys (a total of 5 hits?). doubts on high caliber

Maybe I'm asking for a bit much but they could have at least aimed for the head. It certainly didn't seem like they were expecting them to live after the first hit.

Now we know what happens if you are hit by a .50bmg, you don't break in half or anything that different from getting hit by a normal rifle round.

one of them is still breathing after being killed. i remember in the reddit days there is a term for this but for the life of me i couldn't remember it. what's it call again?
