This is a sad one. Lots of Brazil deaths, but these people look like older, nerdy computer geeks, and not some low level drug dealer. The logo on the car is of some software company. The long dark haired lady of the women is the wife, she looks somewhat younger than sixty though. The article says "robber" but obviosly this was an assassination. I tried to find out the motive, but there's no news on that. The shooter starts shooting before the victim even reaches for his gun. Maybe it's just a Brazil thing, but maybe his having a gun meant he had threatened already.

The president of the Community Security Council (Conseg) of Rondonópolis, 218 km from Cuiabá, Valdir Farinha, 60, was shot dead on Wednesday night (12) when he was approached at the door of his home by an alleged robber .

According to the Military Police, Valdir was talking to his wife and a couple of friends in front of his residence, in the Monte Líbano neighborhood.

Valdir, who had a gun at his waist, reacted and was shot. A friend of his was also shot. The suspect then flees on foot without taking anything.

An ambulance from the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was called, but Valdir did not resist. His friend was rescued by witnesses.

According to the PM, three people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in this crime. Two men and a woman. In addition, a 16-year-old teenager was apprehended.

The PM said that after this crime the group stole a car to escape. These four people reportedly supported the sniper's escape, but the man who appears in the shooting images has not yet been arrested.

Valdir is a former president of the Federation of the Public Security Council (Feconseg) and current president of Conseg in the central area of ​​Rondonópolis.

This one is a sad one. You can see the guy who dies square up and take 2 shots at nothing as he fades out. Must be one hell of a hallucination.
