Drone footage posted online by the Fontanka media agency shows a worker standing atop the St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex when the roof gave way and began to crumble. The man rushes toward another worker inside a cage as the footage pans out and shows the stadium collapse.

Very sad, the guy comes so close to grabbing hold of the basket as the structure is falling, only to fail, and die. But it's amazing to see how his completing that particular cut causes the whole thing to give way all of the sudden. It's hard to believe there would be no audible creaking sounds with the structure under so much stress.
