I’m just curious if anyone has been able to hear the grizzly man audio?

I don’t think the tapes have been released but I’ve always been curious if the audio was actually leaked or not. The only things I’ve been able to find are fakes.

It was posted on reddit I believe at one point. I have heard it a few times and it is not easy to sit through.

Timothy Treadwell and his girlfriend were mauled by a bear. They caught audio of it; it’s been described as really really bad :/

It is definitely fake. "Grizzly Man" documentary host listened to it with the inheritor of the tape (which would be the reaction vids seen online). That same guy came out and confirmed it was fake, because of discrepancies between the real audio and this bullshit you hear here.

yeah sorry idk then I swear the real one is on liveleak somewhere though thats how I knew where to look coz the original was there from the actual old wpd community from reddit didn't really bother listening to it just searched up grzzly man and thought that was the original. idk anymore then sorry guys

The tape was returned to Treadwell's friend Jewel Palovak. She has been adamant about not using any of the tape in any media production:

"I was the heir of his 'estate' – video, photos, etc, and every contract for each project that I did after his death had a clause in it that the 'death tape' would not be included in any production."

There's no way she would have released the tape to the internet. This is just like the Chubbuck video – people claim to have heard it but for some reason it's no longer available despite its notoriety. If it ever had been leaked, copies would still be available.

The tapes were said to be burned after the people who found the body/camera after they heard it. They said it was too horrible to have exist in the world. Bummer.
