I think these twisty slides are dangerous for a few reasons, the potential to fall backwards and go right over the edge, as seen there, it's one big blind corner from top to bottom, and when kids climb up them, they aren't able to maintain good footing, and they have nothing to hold on to aside from the outer edge of the slide. A regular straight slide is a lot safer in all these respects.
