Life can sometimes be too hard for certain people. You start out your life either in a good or a bad family and you learn how to survive from them. From a good family, you learn to earn what you need. From a bad family, you learn to earn by stealing. Sometimes, even if you're a naturally good person whether you come from a good or bad family, you are forced into a situation where you have to steal to survive, probably due to lack of education or desperation. But that doesn't excuse you from the consequences of stealing and making other people suffer. It doesn't matter for what reason you're stealing, in the end, you're hurting somebody else, and those people definitely have the right to defend themselves and their property and they have no obligation to save or help you.

It's rare to see someone who survives on crime transition into a more socially and mutually beneficial situation.
