The truck didn't even bounce a lot like how it usually does whenever it crushes people. I guess the driver really didn't feel it, although I have to question how the driver didn't see the old lady. Anyway, isn't it not allowed for people to cross from where the old lady got crushed? There's no crosswalk visible. As a pedestrian, even if you "always" have the right of way, you can't just assume people will stop their vehicles for you, aside from the fact that you could cause potential accidents when vehicles try to avoid you and they crash into someone else. Crosswalks and traffic signals are there for a purpose, and that purpose is to at least make you cross the road safely.

I mean... I can see why he didn't. Hes way up in his truck with extremely low visibility to things really close to the cab. Same reason why if I'm riding my Harley and a semi pulls behind me at a stoplight, I move to the side and away just incase the driver forgets I'm there or can't see me and thinks I made a turn.

Thinking of this now, I never would've been that aware of the situation if I didnt see things like this. Seeing stuff like this keeps me humble on the road for damn sure. As a driver and a pedestrian
