All space programs have just been a massive PR campaign to launder money into weapons development and delivery systems. All of them. Always. Anyone who tells you anything else is a liar, ESPECIALLY the government. That we've done anything at all with respect to space exploration is mere coincidence to the fact the government funnels money into these programs explicitly to return dividends in terms of war. The pentagon doesn't give a shit what we learn about Titan, they want to know how to better blow up Russia.
