Majority of siblings do not look like their parents, or like each other.

People want to see that people look like each other when told they're family. Example, a lot of people think an adopted child looks like their adopted parents when they aren't related to them at all. They'll wrongfully say 'this child looks just like you' and later find out he's adopted. People have really bad confirmation biases.

Just like me, people always say I look like someone because I shave my head. Sure, we share a bald head, but we don't share anything else.
