When we went on road trips my sister and I would leave the crayons on that deck that old cars had under the back window. They would melt and make a certain colorfulness that I liked but my mother not so much.

When I was a kid I wanted the huge Crayola 64 box. I didn't get one. Then my parents and grandparents wondered why I didn't color. Somewhere in my parent's house is a 55+ year old small box of unopened off brand crayons I maliciously ignored. My granddaughter must have 400 crayons and she likes to color.
