My grandmother was born in 1913. She used to tell us stories of being a child laborer. She said when the inspectors would come all the children knew their box to hide in until the inspectors were gone.

Women sufferance was opposed by industrialists, because they knew that would vote to abolish child labor.

Female suffrage is the shiznit!
