Whether I agree with what they are saying or not, I'd much rather hear it from the person than a talking head explaining their take.

Maduro's KKK references just seem inflammatory toward the Trump administration. While most of his criticisms I think are quite valid, the KKK racism stuff is just red herring.

Yeah the KKK bit is over the top, like saying Nazi. He shouldn't say it unless he can prove it.

I think he's trying to use the current racism rhetoric to inflame US citizens against Trump and Trump's actions against Venezuela. While I do think the US sanctions are not called for, I don't think using the racism card is a good tactic as it's manipulative and not really in good faith. Could be he really believes it too, but then it shows he's naive IMO.
