Reptiles don't have the same mental capacity, so it's actually a more reasonable thing to do imo.
I guess ultimately, the reptile will eat something else, so oh well.

I eat meat every day and I like it. I love it. Why don't you head down to Florida and play with the gators. They are reptiles and you are a mammal.
