I've mentioned this to my local Facebook groups too.

I'll be starting some resource lists among other things after 9/11 on the Cassy platforms.

Yes, but more in public. In the private groups of obviously aware folks they don't drive them away so they can monitor them. All .win sites are blocked along with others, but I link to SaidIt posts so there's a proxy between them, plus it exposes folks to SaidIt and the idea that they're idiots for staying on censored Facebook.

We may need to set up the Facebook-like forum Diaspora for them. (I haven't seen or tested it.)

the majority of people get their needs met by using facebook and that is all that they care about.

i am not a fan of setting up another reddit clone, there are so many flaws in this model.. these types of forums(including saidit) do as much harm as they do good.

these forums remind me of hosting a private party at my home and inviting all of my enemies to attend anonymously.

have you gathered any amount of information about businesses that do not respect the mask mandates and vaccine mandates?

Not yet. I've been tempted several times on the local Facebook groups - but I have a global video project to finish before 9/11. After I can do that. Further, these Windsor folks need to be proactive themselves, not just bitch and whine about shit. Take charge and do something. I don't even have kids much less need to find home-school pods and keep track of them for other Windsor folks. I don't need a chiropractor. I don't have their problems and they aren't paying me. But after 9/11 I'll set stuff up so they can help themselves - and importantly I'll set it up so that any region can help themselves.
