Wait, aren't vaccines simply immune system boosters? How can they possibly damage somebody if that's all they do?

That's a misnomer.

"Safe and effective"

They're considered "effective" if the immune system produces antibodies.
That's it. Literally. There's no guarantee of additional protection, or benefit.

They're considered "safe" because you can't sue the manufacturers for damages. Ever.
So, they are safe.

So, they're actually being honest. /S
