Largest Study on Long Covid yet Reports: “We did not observe evidence of qualitative different symptom clustering in vaccinated vs, unvaccinated individuals.” So there's no evidence that the vaccines help deal with the illness like we are always told they do.

Or common sense, certain people with certain genetic traits are more susceptible to long covid and have immunne systems that are not effective against covid.
I caught covid and it was not very severe. But my neighbour who was around the same age with no health problems, caught it and died. He was just predisposed to getting severely ill.
