From just looking at this is it even possible to tell what kind of strike it is? I'm not saying it couldn't be a tactical nuke, I have no idea what size the mushroom clouds are.

Russia didn't use any nukes. That was from the ammo depot exploding. Therefore, NATO had positioned a nuke there for some purpose. A small, tactical nuke.

Oh ok, I get it, wasn't thinking of it from that perspective. what would the benefit to NATO be?

I think to blow it up somewhere nearer the front and accuse Russia of being responsible. Probably say it was a false flag from Russia or some shit like that. Some sort of nuclear false flag has been theorized a LOT over the last year or so...

I've always argued that if anyone was going to play games with nukes, it would be Putin. I just see him having more to gain with that firepower threat being on the table. But cards on the table, I'm not seeing Russia's right to the territory its occupying in Ukraine, just my opinion.

It also makes no sense to nuke the territory you want to take. As a matter of fact, blowing up those DU shells in WESTERN Ukraine is a great idea, because having them used in central / eastern Ukraine would devastate the value of the most fertile farmland in the world, which Putin is conquering.

But I agree, Russia are more likely to initiate large scale nuclear conflict with the West, IMHO.

It's just that this time, Russia used a large number of drones, most of which got shot down by air defenses. You don't do that with nukes! :-P
