If you have a sound point, you don't need to resort to lying.

As an example: If a chemical is known to give humans liver cancer and you say about it:

The “controlled burn” actually transformed a relatively harmless chemical into an extremely toxic, deadly chemical

Then you are lying and the rest of everything else you have to say is simply disregarded.
