George Floyd should not have died

He made the choice, a bystander told George Floyd just give up as he resisted getting in the cop car. George Floyd rather than going back to jail again made the choice to resist. According to authorities, after he (Nichols) was stopped a confrontation ensued that resulted in Nichols fleeing on foot. He was then apprehended again by the five officers resulting in a second confrontation. The police said Nichols complained of having "shortness of breath". You would be out of breath if you ran from cops. Nichols and no one else made the choice to run from cops and Nichols made the choice to resist, Nichols chose to die and the cops did all the right things.

I'm pretty sure he did not make the choice to die. Frankly, him trying to pass a bad check is not worth all the trouble it ultimately caused. Better would have been to lock him up for a lot longer, given his felony record.

And there's no way you can justify how they treated Nichols and I'm not buying their narrative for a second. They beat that kid to death. He weighed 150 lbs. I'm not anti-cop by any stretch (I was a dispatcher for the state police for years), but there are bad actors. These were bad actors. No way you can justify this kids death.

The dude put up resistance, he ran from the cops and in the second encounter he resisted yet again. Had he just gave up and went to jail he would be alive right now, he made the choice. Look at Kelly Thomas he did nothing wrong other than being homeless yet the cops beat on him for over 20 minutes and they got a way with it and one is collecting $0k retirement. He made the choice to resist and run, I have no sympathy for criminals.

Doesn't rate the death penalty. He had a clean record and I'm not buying this bullshit narrative that one kid rated that response for a traffic violation. They went way overboard for no good reason and this kid paid with his life.
