Gun control is a joke anyways. It is literally engaging in countering pre-crime like in Minority Report. Murder is illegal, and yet whenever someone gets murdered with a screwdriver there is no grand call for the confiscation and ban of screwdrivers.
And the required classes? Those are being taught by people who are paid by those taking the class. Just think about that for a second. People are paid to make sure people get permits. Not paid to make sure they are safe or responsible, but to make sure they pass. Not only that, but if an instructor gets poor reviews they may get fired and have trouble finding that job elsewhere. So the guy who is posing in selfies with the gun on his temple, who doesnt even have a holster or bag to carry the firearm, is the one who gets to tell the instructor how good a job they did to get them certified. See the problem yet?
