A problem here is when an individual is chased by a crowd or raging lunatics then turns around and protects himself from a clear and present threat, he is not protected by current District Attorney's interpretation of the law. So this emboldens the crowd, if I may call them that, to escalate because they see no repercussions to their violence. So they keep doing it. When the State supports mobs it is no longer the State it has become part of the mob, or subjected to its whim. Hello Rome Goodbye, Washington, DC
