What do you mean exactly? What is "not even close to possible"?

That was a huge leap of faith projection at the time they wrote it, and didn't make any sense, but it seems to a have largely panned out after Arizona's counting went all wonky and another hail marry or two. Obtaining the majority is still pretty unlikely, but was crazy to expect when they wrote this.
