Reducing disenfranchisement is a positive thing.
If you pay for your crimes then you should be allowed to vote.
Mental incompetence is the subjective bullshit of a criminal state (think eugenics sterilization policies, etc.). Plenty of retarded people vote for their retarded political party.

The gerrymandering and term limit increase are terrible ideas.

I'm on the fence regarding the electoral college nullification bill.
This is a complex issue.
No other Western democracy has an electoral college.
Although, this will marginalize all smaller states.

You'd have an argument except that SB399 and SJ29 are opposites. One assigns power to the majority and the other takes away from it. Therefore (and to anyone looking), it's obviously politically motivated.

I agree with SJ 8 and 14. SJ 6 puts VA in line with most other states and the federal government. SB 65 I'm ambivalent on. Largely I'm against it but there's so much corruption in voting anyway and in the future we'll eventually figure out electronic voting.
