I think AOC has intentionally thrown out some crazy ideas to move the Overton window and make some of the other socialists seem more normal by comparison.

Or stated policy's that are exactly what we need, green new deal, health care as a right, free public education, increasing the minimum wage. Not taking money from corporate interest pushing for an end to the endless wars. Calling out greed, of the fosal fuels industry banking Amazon ECT. Supporting election reform. Tax reform. Justice reform. You know she's winning in the minds of many of us. I just can't call what she is doing as crazy.. seems to us it is past time to fight for right. You want a movement? embrace the real conter narrative that is progressive and certainly not crazier then a trillion dollars budget deficits. As for Dems really doing nothing and Republicans joining them in the destuction of America with neither party being for what is right, for us. So the overton window got broke in 2016 with Bernie. I will submit the plan has been sitting since the 60s or even before MLK all the way back to FDR. It is the completion of all of our goals as Americans she shatters this idea it's what we want! It has to be what we demand. For all of us to do this big lift we need you to join us for the good of all of us. Or you could vote Biden or trump and wait for the good for generations like we do in America while ignoring all of us. For me there isn't even hesitation of fear as long as progressive values lead.

I agree that trillion dollars budget deficits are crazy, driving the military industrial complex and the warfare state. So is the proposed green new deal, though. If it were to actually pass as worded, the ban of fossil fuels and nuclear energy would result in the collapse of the entire infrastructure, leading to mass starvation and economic collapse that would make Venezuela look like a walk in the park. I'm all for moving toward sustainable energy and reducing our footprint, but this is not the way to do it.

You know the most costly thing we do is chase funding for projects can't get off the drafting tables. To completion. This cost America billions a year.The economic collapse can only happen if people stop spending other than that your worries are nothing but talking points grow up and nuttup we have a 160 billion workers Real!y building infrastructure is not a bad thing. Money has to be spent on something better. Now if trump could get our men and woman home it's time to be better. jobs jobs and more jobs rebuilding America sorry can't go wrong doing the right thing spending money on all of us is better than a drone killing a goat . After all we built the highways the TVA Niagra falls Hoover put a man on the the moon all while growing America for generations. Much better that spending all of our money on debt. So the filthy rich can take 1.2 trillion of our dollars in profit this year. All while we pay the interest on their money they don't have to pay tax on ever again. Venezuela my ass. We need money to fix it nobody has the balls to walk out on America if they want to survive that's is. The banks the US and England don't have clean hands here it is the cause you seek, not socialism. Not by a long shot the thing you can not see is this is America we don't need banks ask any general. Just a side note if you give five dollars an hour more to workers earning less than 15 an hour. That 83 billion folks. Let's see 8times 5 dollars an hour that's 40 times billion and it is over 400 million a hour your pumped in to our economy. Every hour of every day. Tax free. If you cant support that? then you can't be with us. No middle ground as I see it. Nonsense its the only way to do this. It's gonna be epic and good we will try not to shut off your power.
