Trump’s Executive Order on Anti-Semitism Isn’t About Protecting Jews

This has nothing to do with antisemitism.

It has everything to do with suppressing 1st Amendment free-speech rights of the American people.

Trump's order subordinates the rights of the American people, to the policy interests of a foreign government.

This order is a betrayal of the Presidential oath of office.

Literally treason against the US Constitution.

On the basis that he is indeed infringing the 1st amendment, prohibition of criticism of anything including another state yes he is treasonous. He lost me when he changed the embassy to Jerusalem and declared it the capital of Israel

Someone should make Trump MIGA hats. Make them blue and white with the star of David like the Isreal flag.

I'd like to see some media coverage of kids wearing Trump MIGA hats.

I wonder what the public would have to say about that.

It counters antisemitism in the same way that invading other nations prevents wars.

In reality it's used to combat the BDS movement and silence criticism of Isreal state policy.

Given the current climate of intolerance for perceived intolerance in this era of student/academic culture, actual antisemitism in 2020 from students is close to inconceivable. It simply isn't happening.

I'm making a point not about the efficiency of the law, but the legitimacy of the source who seems to claim Trump is one of the worst anti-semites ever, seems like it's a case of TDS and double-think.

This bill won't counter antisemitism. It will anger even more people about the Zionist betrayal of the Constitution. It can't deliver on it's stated objective, but will increase opposition to Isreal state policy.

Similarly, invading another country will not reduce hostility. Invasions increase hostility.
