I don't think that's what people are doing. Most people are just avoiding the virus and taking a vacation. I think most people distrust what is going on, on some level, and that will intensify the more time passes. The peak of the virus will be in about 2-3 weeks, so we will see after that.

two weeks is fine, but what if they keep saying 'two more weeks until a peak' forever, all while they destroy the country?

2-3 weeks means April 30. That's when the max number of people will be getting it. Then it takes 2 weeks to recover. So we should start getting back to normal by mid-May.

Yup if things aren't returning to normal by mid-may, I think everyone's tone will change dramatically because it'll become clear the lockdowns are not for our health anymore

what i am afraid of is, they will end the lockdown, but after a few weeks announce the infections are on the rise again, then reintroduce the lockdowns for another two months and keep going like this until all their goals are achieved. i really hope i am wrong.

i think they are planning more restrictions after the easter holidays

If that's the case, I think a lot less people will be receptive to that second lockdown than have been ok with the first. It could happen

they will just bring in the national guard, the army, dhs, fema etc plus a bunch of drones to spy on everybody.

Yeah at some point though if they make it too obvious and too long people will push back more and more. Just look at history
