It's scary how hard they are willing to push to get this ideology to make sense. The "mental gymnastics" as they are coming to be know are insane.

I truly hope when this is all over people who argue for this are remembered for the monsters they are.

They won't be, unfortunately, not anymore than the people who advocated for and performed lobotomies, unrestricted shock therapy, or any of the other awful medical "treatments" that were considered vital tools to alleviate problems in their respective days.

True enough. Sad though, seeing the past repeat itself.

The only point I can argue is that this is happening on a much larger scale, affecting the whole of society. I feel that the public is far more aware this time around. (As appose to something like lobotomies where most people of the time were not aware unless it effected them or a family member directly.)

Anyway I do agree with you. I doubt anyone will seriously be held accountable.

Normie supporters of it don't realize what it is because they don't want to think about it because it's icky. I've had the discussion with people before about whether the surgeries should be allowed and they try to end the discussion because they refuse to discuss it because it's gross.

Regardless of how their little movement goes, I get the feeling they'll be treated like Marx or Robespierre or Lenin- objectively disgusting, evil, stupid creatures worshipped by academia and only hated by the 10-15% of the population that's capable of independent thought
