Bring back asylums. It is a mental disorder. If you look at your body and are convinced that there are parts that don't belong, and there are parts you've seen on the opposite sex that you want, there's a problem in your head. That or it's a troublesome fetish.

Seems obvious to me. You've basically removed ant qualifications for a "legal sex change" to just ticking a box on a form. This I suppose will limit the paperwork burdens on transsexuals but also give essentially a carte blanche for any bad actors to identify as women to access women's spaces. Result? Normal society doesn't give a fuck about trans people having less paperwork, doesn't raise an issue, they do give a fuck about creepy types, predators, and others going into women's spaces and creeping on women. You've removed one of the failsafe in the system designed to catch those people, now you don't catch them and its trivial for them "become women" so they can access women's spaces and predate on women. Result? Normal people are effected and backlash begins.

It's just beyond retarded to have these self ID laws in place, entirely self defeating to the trans movement as well. It's like that meme of the guy sticking the stick in his bicycle wheel. You've gone and fucked it up and it blows up in your face. Now you're gonna have it worse than if you had done nothing.
