Political realities limit Trump's ability to pass legislation like this quickly but I think you'll see a lot of executive power shift away from it. The problem with most of the gender ideology is that it is almost impossible to define legally since it is all nonsense based on self-identification anyway. So how can you write laws about it? The problem here is what I have always called the rubber band theory. I said it back in the gay marriage debates, I am in favor of legalized gay marriage but if you try to impose it on places that don't want it and try to force things like serving wedding cakes it will create a blowback which has the potential to destroy all gains made. The same with the trans issue, they pushed too far too fast and what little good that came from it with increased understanding of mental health issues has the potential to be erased in the blowback.

I agree completely with this. Like many have said before the pendulum swings both ways. The more you push it to the left the farther back it swings to the right.

Like 99.9999% of people I have ever met, they don't care about these issues so long as no one is actually being oppressed or hurt. (Like real oppression, not the made up imagined bullshit)

Just today I was in a BestBuy and I'm sure the person there was non binary. I didn't give two shits. I couldn't care less if that's how they want to present themselves but there's a good chance I might use the wrong pronouns. That's fine, correct me and I'll do my best. I believe in a general level of respect but don't go legislating it and threatening fines. Don't get children involved. Don't cram it into every movie and TV show.

To be fair every person I've encountered from the alphabet soup has been fine. I've never had anything resembling an issue. The only issues ever on this topic have come from middle aged/older women with dyed hair who bring this BS up at a meeting.

You want a nuclear family you're gonna have to make it so that people under the average age of 56 can afford a home. Being concerned over what indoctrination routine the kids are on won't mean one wet fart when no one's having kids.

Capitalism shifted away from the nuclear family as a productive unit anyway. Now it's all about $100k+ in pre-tax money for college tuition, a guaranteed life debt owed from everyone even if they end up a loveless incel, and they can always try group home ownership, where a 15 person polycule can share in the exciting life experience of defaulting on a house while they all get herpes together.

No corporation that pays minimum wage anymore even has real competitors besides other massive corporations. The greatest beneficiary of raising salaries would be the people who collect them. They should all be higher than they are now anyway just to approach the median of where inflation has taken us. CEO salaries have certainly caught up. We all know this shit anyway, this is the main reason anyone voted for Trump, misled or otherwise - we all want more money.
