The huge thing TRAs take for granted is that they think people's silence on their dogma is active endorsement when in reality people just have their own lives and bills to pay so the cost of speaking out is too high. When you spin it around and ask people to actively endorse that ideology you are trying to force people to publicly agree with you. Some of them might have slight agreement but then those people are going to make the same calculation that doing so just isn't worth it.

yeah, that's a common factor in all these SJW movements, starting with radical feminism: nobody wanted to be a test case or necessarily be endorsed by the Yannopopolis/Fuentes types, so they'd just cross their fingers and click the checkbox saying "all men are responsible for anything a man does even if a man didn't do it men men men DADDY WHY DID YOU LEAVE" after the (timed) 2-hour Voluntary Self-Reporting Session

then when fads shift they realize that even if they got all the laws and courts and rape clinic funding and million-dollar women's centers (but penismonsters get nothing, "the whole world is the Men's Center!") no more than 10% of people actually supported them and only conformity among politically-monocrop social circles and HR/administration's fist at their disposal let them think they weren't just winning but about to remake all society (except for the recalcitrant majority)

I think it was Machiavelli who said all power is borrowed--there's actually very little constituency for militant twin activism or whatever the idpol demands of the day were, and by 2017 Hillary had lost to her own ringer and the shock of undergraduates besieging campus admin buildings and shrieking in professors' faces was over; everyone realized they'd only be there another 2-3 years anyway, and protesters had to start being effective instead of mockable (like the infighting over whether the pussyhats were racially exclusionaryist because not everyone's mucous membranes are pink)

in the grim logic of social justice there can only be the victims and their wicked oppressors doing it for the kicks, so the event horizon quickly contracted butthole-style: masculine gays were already expelled by 2014 (double patriarchy!), Black women outranked the men ("an unacceptable 5% of prison inmates are AA women!"), the AGPs flooded out the dysphorics, and if Tumblr hadn't committed suicide 2018 the pan NBs would've pushed aside the "lesbian" AGPs (though only among college SJWs), Aunt Jemima and the Land o' Lakes lass were removed as they demanded and then they bitched that was just a token gesture, Aunt Jemima and the Land o' Lakes lass were removed as they demanded and then they bitched that was just a token gesture; the king is dead, long live the queen

so whatever does happen to the TRAs, they only have the toleration of the majority and appeal to higher force, AND a subculture that'll throw the reigning subgroup to the wolves at random: frankly they KNOW most people who DO always properly use their Preferred Pronouns might not MENTALLY do so, so they make demands like going to a cafe before meeting their Theirness and practice pronouns first--nobody wants a friend who gives you weekly workbook assignments!

yeah, that's a common factor in all these SJW movements, starting with radical feminism:

What do you mean by that? Radical feminism was kind of the primary driver of pushing back against TRAs from the beginning before anyone knew what "gender" even was. Granted i think they inadvertently gave AGPs the starting point for the language models used to propagandize academic circles but the TRAs latched onto every marginalized group in existence and stole all their terminology so IDK if you can blame radfem writings.

everyone realized they'd only be there another 2-3 years anyway, and protesters had to start being effective instead of mockable

I experienced the opposite of this. I was in grad school around 2010 and the university went from having a student run LGBT center and a GSA student group to suddenly deciding to hire a "director level" position. I never met with the GSA but I did start going to the LGBT center. They basically had a grad student sponsoring it like an RA and then like 5 undergrads acted like staff when they had time. The environment was extremely chill and they would host interesting events and discussion groups. Fast forward, the university hires the director and an assistant director. The grad student is either fired or is removed but he stops coming to the physical space either way. The director quickly starts changing everything. The undergrad staff confide how miserable they are but they can't leave because they need the on campus job. People start to complain that the hours are changing and the group discussions are being either removed or HEAVILY moderated. They are trying to make the center a "9-5 business hours environment" while telling everyone how inappropriate it was that the previous RA allowed people to hang out late night. The events started turning into infantile arts and crafts sessions with premade stuff about gender to complete. Of course it had to turn from an LGBT center to a trans HR training seminar every day. Essentially everyone complained and the director was overheard constantly talking about how it was only a problem because the previous batch of students wanted to complain that the center was "modernized". It was explicitly stated that they were just going to ignore the current students for 4 years and at that point the new students would have no memory of how it was before. The GSA was also a sticking point because apparently that was a fully student run group with no explicit meeting location. The director was always furious that the GSA would just ignore or do the opposite of the "modern/appropriate" messaging. I never attended those meetings as i was in the middle of leaving by then but I did also overhear the same comments about "4 years" in regards to the GSA because they wanted to get them directly under the control of the LGBT center but had to wait out the student officers who currently ran the group.

ah, I was referring more to after 2017 when the worst possible scenario occurred (Trump) and then after 2021 when they got everything they'd wanted (no more Aunt Jemima and Biden in the WH)

the Yaniv types just took over everything the radfems had built and they weren't able to stop the Rot-Clitted Wonder

What parts of him need "re-educating" according to them? They don't make that clear.

If I'm not mistaken, I think it was a tweet in support of Trump that kicked this thing off.

Being Canadian, it's weird he's involved in American politics. He's very outspoken about the nasty tranny politics that have started to take over the left. As a result, I think he's so disgusted, that he's falling into also accepting the stupid side of our right-wing politics, as there seems to be no middle ground anymore. He's very intelligent, and I agree with a lot of what he says, but I think he's too emotional to make the most optimal and positive changes he has the potential to do.

I don't know if he was always such an Israel cheerleader or if the DW re-educated him. Or if they just paid him piles of cash.

Hello can you tell me what evidence there is for the hollow hoax, and how my points about it have been debunked, as you phrase it? It seems that you forgot to address my comment earlier.

I'm confused as to what you're referring to as the "hollow hoax". I don't remember talking about such a thing, could you provide more context?

I wouldn't bother engaging, he's a Holocaust denier who has posted that on this thread by mistake.

I know, I talked before, and he seemed rather upset when I called bullshit. There seems to be quite a bit stuff like jew-hating/racism towards non-whites, etc., which I think is because such things are so heavily censored elsewhere, it's like a test, or an affirmation of "free speech" on this loosely moderated site. Even with all that, though, it's still way better than reddit. Every time I go back, it gets worse and worse, and now it's full of super-left-liberal sjw toxicity, and nothing else, because they ban everyone who doesn't align with their politics.

Can't go 2 minutes on this site without a 403 error

hopeless benzo case, I think any training should be restricted to telling real cadaver sperm-milking stories (the IDF) from fake (Chinese fetish porn)

I don't recognize my home country anymore. A decade ago this would have been unthinkable. Canadians cherished our freedom of thought and expression now expressing anything against the government decided beliefs that the ministry of truth tells us to think in any public setting will get you reeducated.

interesting observation, I felt sometime in the 00s Canadian politicians stopped being ... "Canadian," just shifting into an extension of US culture-war slapfights

for the Tories, just compare Diefenbaker and Mulroney's straitlaced, British-ass conservatism to Harper trying to join Dubya's wars and that Calgary Stampede fiasco; Polievre's just selling himself as a northern office of the Trump franchise; Chretien held off a deranged Quebecois assassin with a statue of a loon, while 2deau looks and acts and sounds like every standard-issue "don't actually ask me about my promises" gladhanding mayor and governor in the US; the NDP went from a guy rocking Star Trek cosplay to pitifully begging the 20yo Campus Outrage Patrol to not "cancel" them the day before an election
