Okay Juicy Smollet Jr. Wasn't she the one who freaked out on Colbert about Smollet and then dead silence when we found out it was a hoax? I don't believe a word of this. At the very least, old Elliot thought she had balls and started some shit and a normal dude taught her a fucking lesson. She's lucky she didn't get beat like a US Women's Soccer player (Wrexam just beat the US Women's Team 12-0. They even ended the game earlie LOL! Only 40 minutes vs. 90).

Wrexham (retired) vs USNWT (retired) I believe. Some of the Wrexham players were well past their best, and it’s not like Wrexham are an EPL team either, they play down in League 2, the lowest division in the English Football League.

Yeah, I was trying to understand the standings and where they sat (like are they the #1 team in the league or something). I'm just not that up on soccer. Still, the whole thing over gender pay gap is so ridiculous. Learn math and take yes for an answer. You're already getting a bigger chunk than the men. I say give them what they want; a small piece of a smaller pie and no bennies like getting paid for games they didn't play.

Wrexham won “The National League” which means they won promotion to the “English Football League Division Two”.

In order for them to play in the Premiership (with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City or Arsenal) they would now have to win Division Two, then win Division One. I believe it has been done, but I’m not knowledgeable enough to say by who.

FIFA are currently throwing a shit-fit over the Women’s World Cup TV rights in Europe.

The European TV Broadcasters are not willing to spend big on the TV rights and FIFA is relying on the TV rights to pay for the prize fund which they rather foolishly said would be closer to the men’s prize fund (despite the women’s game bringing in a tiny fraction of the men’s in ticket, sponsorship and TV revenues, they give away lots and lots of tickets free and still can’t fill smaller venues).

Add in to that that Australia and New Zealand are the hosts for the next Women’s World Cup and all the timezone crap means that viewership will be even lower than it could have been in Europe if it had been hosted in Europe or even Africa.

Add in the lobbying by certain parties to get the Women’s World Cup added to “The Crown Jewels” of British sport meaning that all matches must be shown live on a free-to-air TV network (BBC, ITV, Channel Four or Channel 5) which limits the amount a broadcaster will pay, especially the BBC which doesn’t run commercials/adverts.

So the Women’s World Cup might not be shown in Europe on live TV…because of greed from all parties involved.

Agreed, but also there is nowhere near the interest in the women's cup vs. the men. As we just saw, the level of play is just astronomically different. I wish them well, and they still get to play the sport they purportedly love for a living (and the way it's structured, they get a better deal than the men, but just from a smaller pot). Take the win and move on, ladies.
