“Drag laureate” for a city in the grips of a Doom Loop.

Can’t help but think that maybe the mayor of a doom looping city should be occupying their time trying to alleviate the conditions feeding the doom loop and not performative shit.

I don't think she has the ability, honestly. I'm guessing that, much like that Fallout ghoul that used to run Chicago, she got elected on a platform of "I'm going to enact policies that will enable those poor, oppressed people to finally get theirs." Pulling out of that loop would require policies that run counter to all of that, mostly centered around the police.
