Seriously, what is it with trans people and anime? If you go into a mainstream trans space almost all of them have an anime pfp.

It's all quite suspicious. Hentai is full of things like traps and femboys.

There's your answer, the anime came first and the AGP developed from those ideas.

But that's the point- even in anime, there isn't particularly any idealization of transition for those characters, and in most cases the trap/femboy specifically makes it clear they are not transgender and in many cases still heterosexual, they're just...a guy who looks a lot like a girl. That would point against it.

But AGP is older than anime

It’s a prominent theme among Japanese and Asian culture. But they look like women.

Japan hasn't bought into gender religion though.

      No...

There was no autist to tranny pipeline pre-2010s and Anime was present in western consumption since the 90s.

      [–]LyingSpirit472 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

But, having said that, the "trap"/"femboy" archetype didn't become particularly widespread in anime until the 2010s [even if Sailor Moon was one of the early huge anime series, they specifically kept the series with the Sailor Star Lights in Japan so that series didn't introduce the archetype to the US.]...so "the rise of traps/femboys" pretty much coincides with the rise of the autist to trans pipeline.

      [–]Dzonatan 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

      Still no.

The term "trap" was considered a joke, therefore the question: "Are traps gay" amongst A&M circles. The turning point may have been Coxcon 2018 where the question was dropped via Q&A. The audiance was laughing its ass off while TB acted like a total melt on twitter and that's when trans bullshit was being injected into the whole trap joke.

Femboys though? Eh... you may have me here. I personally haven't see that term being deployed in full force until around 2020 where I saw tiktok videos of dudes performing the 2 Phut Hon Zero Two dance.

      [–]LyingSpirit472 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Whether or not the term was a joke, the point stands. While anime had been big since the 1990s in the US, it would not be until 2006 with the series "Happiness" for an anime character like that to get popular with US fans [indeed, Jun and Bridget were the reason the trap joke was coined]- and it wouldn't be until the 2010s when that character archetype became commonplace enough you could expect at least one or two traps to be running around a seasonal anime, which as we established coincides with when the autist to trans pipeline started.

      [–]Dzonatan 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Bridget debut in Guilty Gear X2 in 2002. Haku (Naruto character) debut was in Naruto CH15 in 2000. You did not hear about trannies in early 2000s.

Once again: There was no autist to tranny pipeline pre-2010s

      [–]LyingSpirit472 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Haku was a very short-term character in Naruto, nowhere near popular enough to start a trend. Bridget was popular, but again, not even close to when the trickle became a deluge.

Once again: the character archetype of the trap became big in the 2010s, coinciding with the pipeline even you admit.

      [–]Dzonatan 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

My original point of anime traps being older than trans pipeline was in reference to this quote:

You're actually right. Most trans always have anime girl on their pfp. Maybe it wasn't Jew conspiracy after all, but it was Japanese anime causing men becoming trans

So I still stand by what I say. Anime didn't create trannies. No more than it did pre-2010.

Most commercial anime is marketed to appeal towards the masculine ideal of femininity and sex appeal so it's little wonder that it resonates with men with a poor grasp on reality.

Pornsick people look for a place to belong, they find hentai (and the like) accepting. People who question their identity (trans or otherwise) also look for a place to belong.

Many people are pornsick, many people look for a place to belong - they all clash together in a safe space. That safe space is one where fantasy is proposed to be reality.

Trans is the latest "fantasy = reality", and hentai encourages that because it's childlike innocence combined with adult sexualization. It's pedophilia disguised as "cartoons", and is the perfect storm for AGPs to exist.

I don't think trans = AGP, but AGPs are using "trans" to become the norm.

Tranime fans exist only on the extremes of the political sphere and society. It's why half the people on twitter you see with Evangelion profile pictures are trannies and the other half are ardent neo-nazis.

Because troons are so deluded they think transitioning will turn them into hot amine grills.

The only way to make that possible is to abandon the matrix. Which seems to be the final solution to every problem, funny how no one ever thinks of it.

Ackshually... the 10 year old looking girl is really a 4189612852375 year old dragon vampire so its perfectly okay for me to shove my dick into a pencil sharpener while looking at custom hentai of her on rule34.

Shit, that makes me think of Inuyasha, the girl is 14 and her boyfriend is a 300yr old cat eared demon. It's creepy.

      [–]Adventurous_Ad6212 4 insightful - 6 fun4 insightful - 5 fun5 insightful - 6 fun -  (2 children)

Inuyasha is actually trans species. and there fore we have to convert the 300 year (his cat years) into human years then he is actually 62 and if we convert her human years to cat years then she is 72. there fore The girl is actually older then the cat eared demon and as such since they have a 10 year difference in age the relationship is perfectly acceptable and if i wanna stick my dick in a blender to pictures of old ladies fucking cats then there is nothing wrong with that.

here is the resource used to make my calculations https://www.almanac.com/cat-age-chart-cat-years-human-years

It just occurred to me, he's a dog demon...

      [–]Adventurous_Ad6212 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

according to my calculations inyuyasha is roughly 35 - 40 and his girl friend after converting her years to dog years is 107. So if i wanna stick my cock in a meatgrinder to dogs fucking corpses then i have every right too.

https://www.blitzresults.com/en/dog-years/#:~:text=Dog%20years%20chart%20%20%20%20Age%20of,38%20Human%20Years%20%2012%20more%20rows%20 this is what i used for my calculations. Since inyuyasha is human sized i based it off the biggest size of dog.

MrBeast has a tough choice to make now: kick his pedo friend off the team or go all in and rebrand as MxBeast Dildo Hentai Drag Show.
