Yeah I've had way more problems with straight people than gay people with the whole "TMI" public display of affection shit over the years.

Seriously, the amount of people that get offended when you tell them to tone it down is unreal. We know you're a couple we don't need a demonstration. It's just obnoxious and slightly baffling how they act like you hate the relationship just because you don't want to see someone groped in front of you. Not sure if you're wrong about the 14 though a lot of people who act like that do seem to be stuck mentally a bit as teens.

They're mentally children.

I think humans in general are a bit hardwired to respond negatively towards sexual displays. Sort of. I think it's an evolutionary response towards competition. Call it jealously or whatever, it doesn't really matter.

I'll give the hardline prudes shit for hating on even the ideal of sexual relationships. Nothing wrong with those. But there really is no reason to give a demonstration. Ever.

Some people just seem so offended or perhaps they want that negative attention for some reason. I don't know. It's like "You are a whatever-phobe for giving us shit for our public make out session".
