These meat sacks won't be going to war to 'defend' the US, but the upside is that a war might be prevented by the fit-for-service people refusing to put their lives on the line if this is the version of America that they're expected to defend.

No, the real upside is there's been a bunch of these people who have talked about their plans to betray the US in favor of the invader and tried to find how they can do so, even though they have absolutely no benefit to them.

So, when the war happens, they'll become the other country's problem and the fit-for-service people can fight freely.
