They don't agree on much, but both Islamists and Western leftists agree that Christians and the West in general must be destroyed. They'll fall to fighting afterwards and the Islamists will wipe out the leftists (like they did in Iran - here's a good read: How Iran’s Theocrats Allied With — and Then Crushed — the Left. Those leftists supported the imams because they thought that was the anti-imperialist line.

Yes, it's totally reasonable that calls for violence are answered and acted upon. Those 9 year olds were asking for it!

I didn't say it was necessarily reasonable. Just not surprising considering the US has just overthrown their democratically elected government and appointed a western backed dictator. The religious extremists say "join us against the big Satan." It seems reasonable unless you know what the religious right was planning in the background.

Partly it's because lots of Muslims in the West will happily lie that they support troons because that kind of lying is specifically allowed by Islam.

After Shumirun Nessa spoke out about Jeffery Marsh loads of American woke hijabis have come out condemning her and saying they have no problem with him and she is just hateful. They feel the need to protect their position in society but throwing her and child safeguarding under the bus.

Of course if they were in an Islamic state those same women would be the cheering as he was thrown of a roof to protect their position in society.

The difference between the wokester and the people who care about social equality is that the wokester will make it clear eventually their real stance politically is not equality or equity, but "What positions can I take that will hurt Mommy and Daddy the most?"

As such, they ignore the Muslim side of their transgressors, because the "they actively oppress people and will never stop because to stop would go against their religion" is superceded by "Mommy and Daddy remember where they were on 9/11, it was one of the most traumatic experiences of their life, so I'll take the side of the people who did it to hurt them!"
