The story lasted 3 hours on Reddit before getting locked and removed with the top voted comment getting removed and the user who made the comment permanently banned from r/news.

So much fucking cope in that thread. I see that they even tried to pull the “it’s all socialisation” nonsense to explain the difference in men’s and women’s track records, and followed it up by claiming that the women are catching up with the men and that highschool boys beating Elite-tier female Olympians’ records doesn’t happen and of course “Lia didn’t do nuffink”.

It's unreal the nonsense they come up with.

I don't like all this focus on "male puberty" though, we're just kicking the can down the road with that. Sooner or later these puberty blocked males are going to become a problem in sport, since puberty isn't the only thing that confers a physical advantage to males.
