It’s clever. Shifting the goalposts in a way that still allows them to use dramatic words like “genocide”.

And of course they never stop to think WHY people really want to legislate against them. It’s not because they are trans. It’s because of they way trans people and their enablers act.

Modern take on the old line : “they tell you how they are persecuted but never tell you why”

It's not as clever as you think. Using words like genocide the way they are meant to be used is dangerous, it's scary, and most people with a soul agree it's wrong. People would think "I don't want to commit genocide and kill trans people, I'll listen to you!"

If you change the meaning of the dramatic word to something less dramatic, the closer and closer you get to the moment people realize "there's no threat of death except by the person threatening suicide to get their way"...and when that happens, more and more people will tune them out.

yeah we mainly don't want men beating on women in sports and we don't want men ogling women in bathrooms
