This one actually just makes me really sad tbh. Poor kid was basically coerced into it to try and get his mum's love.

Me, too. I think the mother admitted on one episode that she really wanted a daughter. And the total lack of boundaries was disturbing.

I think that's why it saddens me. Normal parents just move on and love the kid anyway. She seems to push this on him as the only way he'll be loved by her and it's distressing to see.

If i'm honest the impression I get with her is that she loves the attention more than her kid. It's creepy. It feels like if he's not trans she'd drop him.

I have to give credit to the women on the old Gender Critical subreddit for being some of the first to point out how the mother raised red flags for them.

she literally drives across state boundaries to nag her kids on the show, it's quite frightening

That part is normal mother behaviour though.
