Yeah turns out alienating half of the voters isn't going to go well for you lol. If only those pesky women didn't have the vote they could do this easily.

You speak like all men are on board with the madness. The truth is actually women are far more accepting of the trans shit than men - but the vast majority of voters, men and women, are against it.

Just to remind you during the Labour leadership race, the only man running, Keir Starmer, was the only candidate to not sign the TWAW pledge and the women running for the leadership were only too eager to pledge their allegiance to the pink and blue flag. Labour’s deputy leader doesn’t miss a chance to spout some pro-trans bollocks, every chance she gets and I wouldn’t be surprised to find out she was the driving force behind the SelfID shit.

By gender: Women are more likely than men to support greater transgender rights across all questions

Across the board, women are more likely than men to support greater transgender rights.

In fact, the only transgender issue on which men tend to be supportive is that people should be able to socially identify as a different gender to the one they had recorded at birth, by 47% to 33% (a net score of +14). While this may be the most pro-trans stance men take, it is also the one on which they are farthest behind women. More than six in ten women (63%) say people should be able to identify as another gender socially, compared to only 18% who disagree, giving a net score of +45.

That question supports a libertarian concept of gender ID. The position dramatically shifts as soon as it starts impacting other people and their children.

Yeah, I think the public support for that position is heavily influenced by the success of the gay rights movement. “I don’t care what you get up to, so long as it doesn’t affect me or my kids”. If they had just left it at that then there wouldn’t be any big issues, but they couldn’t just leave it there because unlike gay rights, it only works if everyone kowtows to their demands.

Looking at the other propositions, support amongst the British public, particularly men, drops off precipitously.
